Light It Up Blue

We've gone "blue" today, in support of  "Light It Up Blue" day!  A day for raising awareness about autism.  Why autism, and why Light It Up Blue?

A Personal Story

Read all about Bob and Suzanne Wright, and their personal story about how autism affected their family, and what they decided to do about it.  It is nothing short of amazing!

Read the full story here at the Huffington Post.

What You Can Do

Go to Light It Up Blue's Tools and Resourcs page to find out how you can be involved...no matter where you live.  That's right.  If you are reading this from Indonesia or Italy...or anywhere on the map, you can help raise awareness for autism.

The link above will take you to a page that offers a PDF printable about ways to raise awareness in your own community.

Won't you join us in Lighting It Up Blue?

Wendy I think awareness of Autism is so important as many people do not understand what it is. If they did they may be more compassionate and understanding.
So true, Namoi! It's true with almost anything. When we understand, we are changed.

Thanks for dropping by!

Wendy =)
