Happy Memorial Day
Growing up military as a kid influenced my views on patriotism in a large way. My family was relocated multiple times, my dad was deployed and he was sent on assignment throughout my childhood. We were taught respect for our country, the flag that represents it and the men and women in uniform who serve it.
The entire Kidlutions family says thank you to all military personnel and their families, and we owe a debt of gratitude to those who paid the ultimate price.
Much More Than a Day Off Work or School
Much more than a day off work or school, Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the many freedoms we have, and the fact that a steep price has been paid for it. War is not a beautiful thing. My life's work involves helping people manage and resolve conflict, so you can imagine I'd be mighty pleased to live in a world without war.
Regardless, we always, ALWAYS support our troops.
